Dragon Hoard

This is part of a Flash animated intro to a game
my studio created. It was our first attempt, but I
think it turned out fairly well. If you want to
check it out go to:

The One That Got Away

Whoops. This was supposed to be included with the other Orc sketches in the first post. Well, better late than never and all that nonsense.
I sketched this one at my mother-in-law's house in the woods near Washougal.

The Hunter

So I sketched this, all the while wondering where the inspiration was coming from.
Not that Crocodile Hunter movie, which I only wish with ever fiber of my being I could completely forget, not the guy from Jurassic Park who dies in a ridiculous way...
Ah, yes, Team Fortress 2. The Sniper. It's a decent game, but to me the coolest thing about it was that the characters were inspired by the movie The Incredibles. So what goes around comes around? (Or insert your better cliche here.)

Ironman

So here is a quick painting of Ironman.
Originally, he was all smooth with a little texture added for depth, then I probably went too far and grunged him up a bit. I can't help it. ;)

Meeting Notes

Went to a meeting with one of our clients, we ended up discussing more of the technical end of the project, so I did some sketching.

Birthday for the Cap'n

I sketched this for a co-worker's birthday today.
I'm also working on a Batman tattoo for him.

Pages from a detective book for kids

These were all sketched in pencil, inked, then scanned into Photoshop for greyscale tones. I'm still getting used to using my Wacom tablet (even though I've had it for almost two years now..) Eventually planning on getting all of the settings adjusted so I can ink on the Mac and be satisfied with the results.
Oh yeah, these pages were for a series of five children's detectives books called
"Bill the Warthog" from Legacy Press. 20 per book, all full page.
